Applicants must meet and provide the following to be considered:   

Must be born in the Caribbean or of 1st / 2nd generation Caribbean descent

Must be a Class of 2020 graduating Broward County, Florida student

Must have a 3.0 weighted GPA


Copy of your Transcript  (upload copy without social security information)

Essay (up to 500 words) 

How has your Caribbean heritage influenced your college and career plans? Explain why community programs such as B.A.C.E., will play an important role in promoting continuing education. 

2 Letters of Recommendation (1 from a Teacher or Counselor & 1 for Community Service)

Winners must be present to receive their scholarship award at the 1st Annual B.A.C.E. scholarship brunch on May 2nd. 

Must be received by 11:59pm on April 24th, 2020 

The Broward Alliance of Caribbean Educators  provide book scholarships to deserving Broward County High School graduating Seniors of Caribbean descent, who plan to attend an accredited College or University in the fall. Students may submit a complete application by April 24th.
